Last week we celebrated the 100th day of school! We completed numerous task that were down right funny, entertaining and helped us to practice our numbers and counting skills. I used the aging app to turn our 6 and 7 years old to 100 year old. We enjoyed laughing at everyone's transformations. Below are some pictures of the different stations they rotated through including (build with 100 blocks, build with 100 cups, roll to 100, count out 100 things from our friendship mix, make a 100th day head band, write to 100 on adding machine tape). Thank you to everyone that donating items and helped our day to be a success! Check out this link to see a slide show of our 100 year old class. To end our 100th day fun, we did our second STEM project. Each group was given 25 items. Their task as to work together to build a structure for our 100th day village. One group was given 25 pipe cleaners, another 25 Q tips, the 3rd group was given 25 craft sticks and the 4th group was given 25 straws. It was amazing to see what they created with their 25 objects and how they collaborated, changed their plans when something was working, never gave up and all succeeded in the end!!!
